Holy Cross Learning Lab is taught by Mrs. Candida Stricklen, a seventeen year veteran of special education in the public school system. It is a quiet place with learning resources that enable students to explore subjects that they have a difficult time mastering. Students are identified by their Student Study Team to receive the services from the Learning Lab. The Learning Lab has small group settings, in an environment that encourages students to learning different subjects and uses a variety of learning modalities. The Learning Lab utilizes many different learning styles and helps the student to be comfortable in their regular classroom setting by designing accommodations with the classroom teacher to help each individual student realize learning milestones.
