The Principal's Advisory Committee (PAC) advises the pastor and principal on matters concerning implementation of the Holy Cross School Strategic Plan. Each member chairs of committee that addresses each goals of the strategic plan. Alumni, current parents, parents of alumni, parishioners, and members of the Santa Cruz Community sit on the Principal’s Advisory Committee.

Holy Cross School Strategic Plan – Goals Established 2009

Goal #1 – Mission Effectiveness:  Holy Cross School will enhance its Catholic Identity to facilitate the educational mission of Holy Cross Church in service to students, parishioners and the greater Santa Cruz Community.

Goal #2 – Ownership/Governance:  Holy Cross School will strengthen its Principal’s Advisory Committee (PAC) to develop PAC into a mission-driven leadership group designed to provide proactive consultation, guidance and support to the school.

Goal #3 – Enrollment:  Holy Cross School will sustain enrollment of 240 students by serving the educational needs of all children in our parish community as well as members of the diverse Santa Cruz Community.

Goal #4 – Curriculum:  Holy Cross School will provide a comprehensive, challenging, developmentally responsive and engaging curriculum infused with the values and universal truths reflected in the Gospel message and the beliefs and traditions of the Catholic Church.

Goal #5 – Staffing:  Holy Cross School will provide its students with excellent teachers dedicated to Catholic Education and the Mission and Philosophy of the school.

Goal #6 – Facilities:  Holy Cross School will provide its students safe and well-maintained facilities to support the educational programs of the school.

Goal #7 – Finances:  Holy Cross School will complete a comprehensive long-range financial plan showing the level of revenues and expenses needed to support the school in a manner consistent with its mission.

Goal #8 – Development:  Holy Cross School will implement a comprehensive development program to promulgate the school brand to recruit families to attend Holy Cross School and to attract financial resources.

Goal #9 – School in the Community:  Holy Cross School will enhance its presence and image in Holy Cross Parish, surrounding parishes, the City of Santa Cruz and the greater Santa Cruz area.
