Principal's Message

Sitting on the hill above beautiful downtown Santa Cruz, Holy Cross School is a vibrant learning community committed to academic excellence and spiritual growth. A ministry of Holy Cross Parish, Holy Cross School serves children from Preschool through Grade 8 throughout Santa Cruz County.

At each unique stage of our children's school experience, Holy Cross School provides a structured and values-driven curriculum. This curriculum is designed to engage each learner and prepare them with 21st century skills. Holy Cross School is mission-focused and committed to knowing each student well and developing the whole child. We strive to create an atmosphere that respects each student as an individual with a wide spectrum of academic, social, and spiritual growth opportunities.

Our expert teachers know and value each student as an individual and see them for who they are and how they are valued within our learning community.

The result of an education based on strong relationships and on the honoring and encouragement of students to be their true selves, our graduates are ready to take on the challenges of high school and life with confidence and integrity.
